first_imgNeed some sun? It’s not too late. You don’t have to break the bank jetting off to the Maldives – here are seven late season sunny beachy places that you can fly to for under £50, and they’re all just a couple of hours away. 3. All that stuff is over by October, so you can explore the White Isle as it should be. For instance, supermodel beach hangout Las Salinas – stuffed in summer, but quieter and lovelier now.4. Zadar, Croatia from £35Average October high temp: 20CAverage daily sunshine hours in October: 8Cheapest return flights in October: £30Zadar, on Croatia’s Dalmation coast, is an ancient walled city that in recent years has become a thronging summer stop-off for crusie ships. Murcia, Spain from £49Average October high temp: 25CAverage daily sunshine hours in October: 4Cheapest return flights in October: £47Just down from the much-more-well-known Alicante, Murcia is a handy jumping-off point for southern Spain.
