Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera says there is no ban on any news website.The Minister said that there have been reports of some news websites being blocked. However he said that there is no point in blocking access to any website locally as those websites can be accessed through proxy websites.The Minister was speaking at an event organised by the Sri Lanka Working Journalists’ Association in Colombo today.
