But head coach Nick Saban may not have to wait long before having a member of Jacobs’ family in his backfield.Speaking to BamaOnLine this past week, running back Isaiah Jacobs – Josh Jacobs’ younger brother – revealed that Nick Saban is working to recruit him to Alabama. Isaiah said that Saban will give him a shot once he sees more significant tape and agility drills. The nation’s No. 61 running back, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, says all Saban wants to see are better times on his 40 and his agility testing this spring and/or summer.“He said that’s the only thing stopping them,” Jacobs said of his testing numbers. “He said for me to come to their camp or that they’ll also be down here this spring to see me. He said all I gotta do is show them and they’re going to offer me.”Isaiah Jacobs is a three-star running back, per 247Sports. He is rated as the No. 850 overall prospect in the country, the No. 61 running back in the country, and the No. 10 prospect from the state of Oklahoma.Nick Saban might want to make him an offer though. Isaiah Jacobs already has offers on the table from the likes of Arkansas, Ole Miss, Maryland, and Iowa State, as well as in-state Tulsa.Last year at Owasso, Isaiah Jacobs recorded 1,024 yards and nine touchdown on the ground, and added another 27 receptions for 296 yards and a touchdown through the air.Josh Jacobs finished third on the team in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage last year. He led the team in rushing touchdowns and finished tied with wide receiver Jerry Jeudy in total touchdowns.Suffice it to say, if Isaiah is anything like his brother, the Crimson Tide can look forward to a very productive star.[BamaOnLine]last_img
