Picture: supplied.“The house was completed in 2014. We only kept two walls from the original house. It was an old Queenslander and now it is a contemporary beach home with five bedrooms, a lift and (multiple) decks,” Mrs Bridge said. “We did a lot of the designing ourselves and we had the architect make sure it all flowed.“The home is quite unique in how it sits on the block as we have the wraparound view and we don’t have neighbours at the back.” The open-plan livings, dining and kitchen space flows out to the upper balcony. Set over three levels, the home has floor to ceilings windows and louvres, as well as a series of decks that take in the water views. Entry to the home in on the middle level, where there is also a family room, media room, two bedrooms, study, laundry, deck, balcony and veranda.
